Politools is a scientific network that implements Internet-based projects in the field of civic education and political analysis.
Our team at Politools is made up of about 6-8 employees. Additionally, our association has 15 active members and many passive members. The professional background of our members is very broad and includes political science, economics, law, history, geography, computer science and graphic design (> become a member).
Politools was founded in 2004 as a non-profit association “Politools – Political Research Network” according to Art. 60ff. of the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB) based in Bern. There has been an entry in the commercial register since 2008. The association has been tax-exempt for its charitable activities since 2017. The association is politically and denominationally neutral (> mission statement (de)) and works closely with numerous partners (> partners & network (de)).
